If you are like us, cabin fever is in full effect these days so a trip to Belle Isle sounded like a great adventure for the afternoon. Belle Isle State Park is an excellent resource to the Northern Neck. It allows you to explore beaches and get you onto the water! The state park includes seven miles of shoreline along the Rappahannock River that also lead to Mulberry and Deep creeks. It is a great opportunity for those who do not have access to the River from their own home and for those who want to explore a different perspective of the River and its wetlands.
